Philip Daniel was born in December 1830. Philip Daniel's father was Henry J. Brown and his mother was Lucy Claiborne Duval. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Brown and Mary Hancock; his maternal grandparents were Philip Duval and Elizabeth Christian. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Samuel H., Henry J., Mary Elizabeth, Bettie C., Mary A. and Lucy Claiborne. He died at the age of 1 on May 22nd, 1832.-
