Augustus Knight was born on June 29th, 1814 in Henrico Co., VA. Augustus Knight's father was John Bowles and his mother was Susannah Duval Ellis. His maternal grandparents were John Ellis and Susannah Duval. He had a brother named Richard Kay. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 68 on March 10th, 1883.-
