Robert was born before 1396 in "Bolling Hall", Bradford, Yorkshire,. Robert's father was Robert de Bolling and his mother was Margaret Thornoe. His paternal grandparents were John de Bolling and Grace Papeley. He was an only child. He died on October 23rd, 1457.
