Bernard de Baliol 
Bernard was born in 1188 in Barnard Castle, Durham, England.1 Bernard's father was Eustace DeBaliol and his mother was Petronille Lady Balliol of Barnard Fitzpiers. His paternal grandparents were Bernard II DeBalliol and Agnes of Picquigny; his maternal grandparents were Piers Lutegareshale and *Maud Costow De Mandeville. He had four brothers and a sister, named Eustace, Jocelin, Hugh, Henry and Agnes. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 40 on February 2nd, 1228 in Barnard Castle, Durham, England.2 -
