William Bishop of Durham Sutton

William Bishop of Durham was born in 1431 in Dudley, Warwickshire, , England.¹ William Bishop of Durham's father was *John Sutton and his mother was *Elizabeth Berkeley. His paternal grandparents were John De Sutton and *Constance Blount; his maternal grandparents were Sir John DeBerkeley or De Berkeley or Berkeley and ELIZABETH LADY BETTERSHORNE. He had three brothers and four sisters, named *Edmund, John, Oliver, Katherine, Margaret, Jane and Eleanor. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 52 on November 29th, 1483 in London, England.¹
