John Sumpter 
John was born in 1730 in Richmond, Richmond, Virginia, United States.1 John's father was *Richard Sumpter and his mother was *Jean LNU. His paternal grandparents were William Sumpter and Elizabeth Patience Iveson. He had two brothers named George and *Henry. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 68 on June 17th, 1798.1 -
