"The Magnificent" Duke of Normandy Robert I

"The Magnificent" Duke of Normandy was born in 1008 in Falaise, Calvados, Normandy, France.¹ "The Magnificent" Duke of Normandy's father was "Good" (Duke of Normandy) Richard II and his mother was Judith DeBretagne. His paternal grandparents were Richard I Normandy and Gunnor DeCrepon; his maternal grandparents were Conan I of Brittany and Ermengarde D Anjou. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Kadwidge. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 27 on July 2nd, 1035 in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France.¹
