Herbert was born in 1130 in Gloucestershire, England.1 Herbert's father was Herbert FITZ HERBERT and his mother was *Sibyl Corbet. His paternal grandparents were Herbert Fitz Henry and Emma DeBlois; his maternal grandparents were *Robert Corbet and Isabella Capet DeVermandois. He had a brother named THOMAS. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 74 in 1204 in Blewlevenly Castle, , , Wales.1 -
