Alice was born in 1236 in Whitmore, Staffordshire, , England.1 Alice's father was William DeFerrers and her mother was *Sibyl Marshall. Her paternal grandparents were William De Ferrer and Agnes De Meschine; her maternal grandparents were *Sir William Marshall and *Isabel Fitz Gilbert De Clare. She had four sisters named Isabella, Joan, Maud and *Agatha. She was the youngest of the five children. She died in England.1 -
