Barnabas was born in 1814 in Wilson, Tennessee, USA. Barnabas' father was *Hugh Eagan and his mother was Jane Wray. His paternal grandparents were Barnaby Eagan and Susannah Whitson; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Wray and *Elizabeth Johnson. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named *Alfred A, Hugh, Elizabeth, Susan, Margaret, Alsy, Samuel W, Harriet and Jane. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 32 on February 21st, 1846 in Wilson, Tennessee, USA.-
