William De Vilars 
William was born in 1065 in Lisle Adam, Val-d'Oise, Ile-de-France, France.1 William's father was Pagen De Villiers and his mother was Asceline FitzAndre. His paternal grandmother was Villiers. He had four brothers named Alan, Aymer, Richard and Matthew. He was the oldest of the five children.
