Sarah was born in 1280 in Hartley Castle, Kirkby Stephen, Westmoreland, England.1 Sarah's father was *William De Ros and her mother was EUSTACE FITZ HUGH. Her paternal grandparents were William DeRos and *Lucy Fitz Piers; her maternal grandparents were Hugh Fitzralph and Agnes DeGreasley. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Thomas, Isabel, Lucy and Ivetta. She was the second youngest of the six children. She had a half-sister named Ivetta. She died at the age of 47 in 1327 in kirby stephen, Westmorland, , England.1 -
