His paternal grandparents were Knud Harde Knud Sigurdsson and Thora Sigurdsdatter; his maternal grandparents were *Earl Harold Klak King of Sjelland of Denmark and *Sigrid Helgisdottir Olafsson. He had a brother named *Harald. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 91 in 0981 in Y, Somme, Picardie, France.1 -
