*James Boyd 
*James was born on October 18th, 1780 in Virginia, USA.1 *James' father was *William Boyd and his mother was *Elizabeth McTeer. His paternal grandparents were *Thomas Boyd and *Rebecca Taylor; his maternal grandparents were *James McTeer and *Margaret Anderson. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Robert, William, John, Sarah, Mary, Agnes Nancy, Alice and Serene Margaret. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 58 on July 29th, 1839 in Blount, Tennessee, USA.1 General Notes
