Isabel was born in 1160 in Brackley, Northamptonshire, , England.1   Isabel's father was Lord Thomas Basset and her mother was Adeliza Alice De Dunstanville.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 64 in 1224 in Stanstead, Essex, , England.1
