*Thomas was born in 1665 in Bethersden, Kent, England.1   *Thomas' father was *Thomas Barton and his mother was *Martha Bull.  His paternal grandparents were *Thomas Barton and *Martha Gilham; his maternal grandparents were *FNU Bull and *Unknown. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, William and Elizabeth.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 71 on July 6th, 1736 in Bethersden, Kent, England.1
