Annie was born about 1767 in Of,Wake,Virginia.  Annie's father was John Mann and her mother was Elizabeth Mann.  Her paternal grandparents were Arnold MANN and Mary MANN. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Arnold, Avy, John Zachaeus, David, Joseph, Peter, Judy, Betty, Frances Fanny, Agnes and Nancy.  She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.
