Jacob (James?) was born before 1520 in Barham,County Kent,England. Jacob (James?)'s father was John Digges and his mother was Joanna Clifton. His paternal grandparents were John Digges and Joanna Brume; his maternal grandparents were Sir Gervaise Clifton and Lady Frances. He was an only child. He died before November 24th, 1540. He was buried in Church of D.afsd,in North Channel.-
