Rev. Matthew Brooke Society of Jesus 
Matthew was born about 1672. Matthew's father was Maj. Thomas Brooke and his mother was Eleanor Hatton-Brooke. His paternal grandparents were Hon. Robert Brooke Commander of Charles County, MD and Mary Baker; his maternal grandparents were Richard Hatton Secretary of the Province of MD and Margaret. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Robert, Clement, Ignatius, Eleanor, Mary and Elinor. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Henry, Mary, Ann and Elizabeth. He died in 1762.-
