Jon's father was Lord Eddard (Ned) Stark and his mother is <Unknown>. His paternal grandfather was Lord Rickard Stark and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Rickon, Bran, "Young Wolf", "Big Walder", "Little Walder", "Arry" and "Alayne Stone".

General Notes
- Eddard Stark once claimed to best friend Robert Baratheon that a lowborn woman named Wylla is Jon Snow's mother. Since Ashara took her own life shortly after Ned's departure, and Wylla's fate has not been established, Jon’s maternal parentage remains unknown. Howland Reed is the only person alive who is believed to know Jon's parentage.
