Aurel (born Avram), known as Lipţcanu, was born about 1824.1  Lipţcanu's father was Iţcu =HEB(Yitzchaq יצחק)=YID(Aizic,Itzic אייזיק,איציק)=ROM(Iţic,Izu)=ENG(Isaac)=POL(Icze) Loewensohn (Levinsohn) {=Loewensohn's _th generation} and his mother was Estera =HEB(Esther אסתר)=YID(Iente,Ite,Ecke,Etyah ינטע,איטה,אקה,עטיה)=ROM(Estera,Eti,Ita)=ENG(Esther)=GER(Jute,-n)=POL(Yetla יטלא) MISSING SURNAME {=_th generation}.  His paternal grandparents were UNKNOWN PATERNAL ANCESTOR SURNAMED Loewensohn and UNKNOWN MATERNAL ANCESTORS. He had nine brothers named Ştrul, Alfred, Azril, Ihil, Fanea, Leibă, Ozias, Rifca and Iancu.2
