Karl was born in Pisek.1  Karl's father was Ernest =HEB(Aharon אהרן)=YID(Urn אהרן)=ROM(Aron)=ENG(Aaron)=GER(Ahron) Berger (of Pilsen) {=Berger's _th generation} and his mother was Laura =HEB()=YID(_) Wiener {=Wiener's _th generation}.  His paternal grandparents were Wolf =HEB(Zeev זאב)=YID(Wolf וולף)=ROM(Lupu,Volf) Berger {=Berger's _th generation} and Regina =HEB(Malkah מלכה)=YID(Molke מלכה)=ROM(Malca,Amalia,Mali)=POL(Regina) Klingenberger {=Klingenberger's _th generation}.  He was an only child.  He died in the Holocaust, d.570x, in Eastern Europe.1
