William was born in 1183 at Alnwick Castle.  William's father is Henry De Percy and his mother is Isabel Balliol.  His paternal grandparents are Josceline De Louvain and Agnes De Percy; his maternal grandparents are Adam Balliol and Joanna De Meschines.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 62 in 1245.  His burial was.
