Тодорка was born in 1882.  Тодорка's father was (Димитър) Минчов Заяков and her mother was Евгени Заякова.  Her maternal grandparents were Андрей Шишков and Киряки Андрей Шишкова. She had two brothers and two sisters, named инж. Минчо, Андрей, Анастасия and Йорданка.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 74 in 1956.
