Hester Isabella du Plessis (van Wyk)

Hester was born in 1779 in Cape Town, South Africa and her christening took place there on April 25th, 1779. Hester's father was Jacobus van Wyk and her mother was Elizabeth van Wyk (de Jager). Her paternal grandparents were Adriaan van Wyk and Sara van Wyk (Fourie); her maternal grandparents were Andries Pieter de Jager and Elizabeth de Jager (Potgieter). She had five brothers and four sisters, named Adriaan, Andries, Roelof, Jacobus, Adriaan, Sara , Elisabeth, Sussana and Clara. She died at the age of 74 on August 27th, 1853 in Cape Province, South Africa.
