Ferike's father was Novák Károly and his mother was Czettmayer Franciska. He had a brother and three sisters, named Károly, Franciska, Mária and Klára.  He was the second youngest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named György, László, Körimama and Teréz.  He died at the age of 5 on July 1st, 1895.
