Ary's father was Jayme Binder and his mother was Bertha Leider.  His paternal grandparents are Izhak Mayer Binder and Joye Jalup; his maternal grandparents were José Leider and Bluma Jalup. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Moisés, Saul, Paulo, Fanny and Wilma.
