Giselbert II De  Luxembourg was born about 1014 in Chateau De Salm, Luxembourg, Belgium>.  Giselbert II De  Luxembourg's father was Count Frederich I De  Luxembourg LUXEMBOURG Count In and his mother was Countess Otgive Countess of  Luxembourg GLEIBERG.  His paternal grandparents were Count Siegfried De  Luxembourg LUXEMBOURG and Countess Hedwig De  Nordgau LUXEMBOURG. He had a brother and three sisters, named Friedrich II De  Luxembourg, Odgiva De , Irmentrude De  Luxembourg and Gisele of  Gand.  He was the fourth oldest of the five children.  He died in August 1059.1
