Nathaniel Washington was born on June 15th, 1839 in Perry Co, TN. Nathaniel Washington's father is Lancelot Armstrong and his mother is Rebecca Ratliff. He was an only child. After Ludora's death, he married Nancy Priss Plunkett Hensley, who was born in 1865 and died before 1900. With Nancy, he had two children, one of which survived to adulthood - Earlie. After Nancy's death, he married Liza Jane Vandiver, who was born in 1873 (date of death unknown). With Liza he had 7 children - Thomas (aka Joe Albert); Florence Ethel; Ella; Dewey; Georgie Lee; Nathaniel Washington, Jr.; and Henry.
