Myrtle was born on December 14th, 1896. Myrtle's father was Louis T. Lenderking and her mother was Matilda Udich. Her paternal grandparents were Phillip Lenderking and Mary Sophia Steig; her maternal grandmother was Eliza Udich. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Louis, Carroll, Howard, Ruth and Dorothy. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 85 in April 1982.
