Bertha was born on April 7th, 1816.  Bertha's father was Karl Konrad Friedrich Koch and her mother was Louise Auguste Christiane Meine. She had a brother and a sister, named Herman and Jeanette.  She died at the age of 24 on December 16th, 1840.
