Frederick was born on June 2nd, 1881.  Frederick's father was Frederick Anthony Von Brotsch and his mother was Lucy Randolph.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Claton Randolph and Sarah. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Raymond, Harry, Lewis, Linda, Martha and Elba.  He was the oldest of the seven children.
