John Giles was born on June 30th, 1643 in Newbury, Essex, Massachusetts, United States.1   John Giles' father was John Badger and his mother was Anne Greenwaye.  His paternal grandparents were John Badger and Joan Hodges; his maternal grandfather was Roger Greenway and his maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named John, Richard, Henry, Giles, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, Isabel, <Unknown> and <Unknown>.  He died at the age of 47 on March 31st, 1691 in Newbury, Essex, Massachusetts, United States.2
