James Wynn

James was born in 1765 in E. Nantmeal Twp. Chester Co., PA. James' father was James Wynne and his mother was Rebecca ? Steele. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Wynne and Anne Warner; his maternal grandparents were James Steele and Martha Steele ?. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Jonathan, David, Thomas, Margaret, Elizabeth and Rebecca. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 67 in April 1832 in E Nantmeal, Chester, Pennsylvania, United States.

  brother. Also, photo of tombstone of James and Rebecca's son, James Wynn
  b. abt. 1765 d. abt. 1832married to Ann Leighton ( in the same cemetery)
  The marriage certificate is my Great-grandfather, Isaac Wynn b. 1840 to
  
  his second wife, Clara Lahr. The house in the photo was bought in 1830's
  by David Wynn, the above mentioned Isaac Wynn's father. The house
  remained in the family until my grandfather, Samuel Elroy Wynn sold it in
  1957. ARM941
