George William Wilkinson

George William was born in 1812 in St. Mary's Co., MD.¹ George William's father was John Wilkinson and his mother was Sarah A. Floyd. His paternal grandparents were William Wilkinson and Ann "Nancy" Thomas; his maternal grandparents were Jesse Floyd and Mary Carey Read. He had a brother named John R.. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas, Zachariah, Ann Elizabeth, Mary B. and Rose Anna. He died at the age of 69 on February 28th, 1881 in Residence, 6th District, St. Mary's County, Maryland.²
