Ida Emily Ridgell

Ida Emily was born on April 10th, 1874 in Maryland.¹ Ida Emily's father was Nelson Uriah Ridgell and her mother was Susanna Emily "Susan" Fenhagen. Her paternal grandparents were Uriah B. Ridgell and Priscilla Norris; her maternal grandparents were Edward Fenhagen and Jane Elizabeth Norris. She had two brothers and six sisters, named William Uriah, Leo Edward, Margaret Mary "Maggie", Adeline (Adalaide) D., Eliza, Jane Matilda (Jeannette), Frances E. "Fannie" and May. She was the sixth oldest of the nine children.
