Mary was born in 1690 in Maryland, United States. Mary's father was John Reeder and her mother was Mary Hayden. Her paternal grandparents were Simon Reeder and Virtue Vowles; her maternal grandparents were Francis Hayden and Thomasine Butler. She had two brothers named Joshua and Simon.
