Lelia B Rawls

Lelia B was born in November 1898 in North Carolina.¹ Lelia B's father was Lewis Dennis Rawls and her mother was Matilda Jane Wharton. Her paternal grandparents were John W Rawls and Nancy Ann Daw; her maternal grandparents were Wiley Wharton and Susan Lincoln. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Alton Whorton, Lewis C, Bertha Augusta, Bessie Mon and Jennie M. She was the fifth oldest of the six children.
