Philip Norris

Philip was born about 1740 in St. Mary's Co., MD.¹ Philip's father was Thomas Norris and his mother was Jane Greenwell. His paternal grandparents were John Norris and Susanna Heard; his maternal grandparents were James Greenwell and Grace Taylor. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John Baptist, Clement, Thomas, Ignatius, Rodolphus, Susan, Henrietta, Monica\Maria and Priscilla. He was the eighth oldest of the ten children.
