Male John Melton

John was born on June 21st, 1749 in Goochland, Goochland, Virginia, United States.1   John's father was Silas Melton and his mother was Catrina Catron.  His paternal grandparents were William James Melton and Elizabeth O Pharr. He had five brothers and a sister, named Silas, Benjamin, Eady, Joshua, Cornelius and Eady.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 63 on May 14th, 1813 in Goldern Valley, Rutherford, North Carolina, United States.1
