Hugh McCotter

Hugh was born on January 31st, 1799 in Vermont.¹ Hugh's father was Alexander McCotter and his mother was Lydia McCotter. His paternal grandparents were James Sr McCotter and Elizabeth McCotter?. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Alexander, Hiram W, Cornelius, Nelson, Mary and Julia. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 89 on February 1st, 1888 in Whitehall, Washington Co., NY.
