Eleanor Joy

Eleanor was born about 1720 in St. Mary's Co., MD.¹ Eleanor's father was John Baptist Joy and her mother was Mary Hazel. Her paternal grandfather is Peter Joy and her paternal grandmother was Ann Stone. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Peter, Joseph, Ann and Mary. She was the second oldest of the five children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Thomas Tarlton, John, Benedic, Stephen, Mildred and Elizabeth.
