Richard Hammett

Richard was born on January 12th, 1764 in St. Mary's Co., MD.¹ Richard's father was Mckelvie Hammett and his mother was Henrietta Hammett?. His paternal grandparents were Robert Hammett and Elizabeth Hammett; his maternal grandparents were McKelvie Hammett and Henrietta Hammett?. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Robert, Henry, Henritta 'Henny", Dolly, Mary, Frances and Sarah. He was the sixth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 60 on August 2nd, 1824 in St. Mary's Co., MD.¹
