James McKelvie Hammett

James McKelvie was born on January 3rd, 1798. James McKelvie's father was Robert Hammett. His paternal grandparents were Mckelvie Hammett and Henrietta Hammett?. He had two brothers and three sisters, named George Alexander, Luther M, Helen Elizabeth, Sarah and Catherine Hebb. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 76 on February 20th, 1874.
