George Greenwell

George was born in 1724 in St. Mary's Co., MD.¹ George's father was Thomas Greenwell and his mother was Mary Medley. His paternal grandparents were James Greenwell and Grace Taylor; his maternal grandparents are John Medley and Sarah Medley?. He had a brother and four sisters, named Philip, WINIFRED, Ann, Anastatia and Monica. He was the oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Raphael, John and Mary. He died at the age of 61 in 1785 in St. Mary's Co., MD.¹
