William French

William was born in 1715. William's father was Martin French and his mother was Mary Browne. His paternal grandparents were James French and Elizabeth Meekin; his maternal grandfather was Derrick Brown. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Ignatius, James, Susannah, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the eight children.
