C. Gertrude Fenhagen

C. Gertrude was born in March 1883.¹ C. Gertrude's father was John Charles Fenhagen and her mother was Mary F. "Marian" Cullison. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Fenhagen and Jane Elizabeth Norris; her maternal grandparents were John White Thompson Cullison and Mary Elizabeth Cissell. She had two brothers and six sisters, named James Henry, George Howard, Ada Elizabeth, Helen S., Lois Blanche, Anna, Mary Edna and Mary S.. She was the third oldest of the nine children.
