Levie A was born about 1871 in Maryland.¹ Levie A's father was James Henry Dyer and her mother was Ann E. Bradburn. Her maternal grandparents were James Bradburn and Elizabeth Benedicta Martin. She had two brothers and a sister, named Alfred, Charles F. and Amanda. She was the youngest of the four children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Charles F and Levie A.
