Matthew Dant

Matthew was born in 1705. Matthew's father was James Dant and his mother was Mary Heard. His paternal grandparents were John Tant and Margaret Drury; his maternal grandparents were John Heard and Susanna Hudson. He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Mary and Ann. He was the oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Robert, John Court House, Mary, Ann, Anastasia, Monica and Theresa.
