James Currie

James was born in 1763 in Augusta, Virginia, United States. James' father was James Currie and his mother was Catherine Beveridge. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Benjamin, Robert, Margaret, Jennet Beveredge, Catherine, Sarah, Susannah, Rebecca and Mary. He was the sixth oldest of the ten children.
